About Sundog Speech-Language Pathology

Hello and welcome to Sundog Speech! I’m Miss Gabe, a speech-language pathologist with several years of experience in the field, predominantly working with bilingual children. I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, licensure to practice speech therapy in Colorado and New York, a Master’s Degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from New York University, and a Master’s Degree in Bilingual Education from the Universidad de Alcala de Henares.

My areas of expertise include bilingual evaluations, speech sound disorders, motor speech disorders, language impairments and delays, and Autism-Spectrum Disorder. I graduated from New York University at the top of my class, where I participated in the Motor Speech Lab, conducting research on apraxia of speech. Prior to becoming a speech-language pathologist, I was a primary school teacher working for over a decade in Upstate New York, Sweden, Spain, and China. I love adventure and languages, and would love to support your communication journey.

If you don’t see your area of need listed above, do not worry! I am open to working with a large range of ages, impairments, and diagnoses.

Speech Sound Disorders, Language Disorders/Delays, Apraxia of Speech, Stuttering, Aphasia, Feeding/Swallowing, and more.
